Lord Fitzwilliams Hunt 1908 - 1909 season fox hunting badge

A scarce original Edwardian period 'Lord Fitzwilliam's Hunt 1908- 09 Wentworth Pack lapel badge'; large gilded brass circular example, surmounted by a Coronet and resting on a pair of outward facing fox head; the centre within a red enamel title surround, depicts an embossed goose on barbed wire striped green enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Sheffield Goldsmiths Company'. Excellent condition, complete with original round early style buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
