The Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers silver badge

A scarce original 'Guild of London Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers silver gilt badge'; large ornate oval bearing an enamelled shield displaying a chevron between three lamps, mounted over royal crowned spherical ship's lantern, within floral leaves and supporting figures with motto scroll below 'Amore sitis uniti'; the reverse impressd with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1989 and maker's details 'TK&S' (Toye, Kenning & Spencer London). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, safety roller catch in good working order, enamel intact and retaining high percentage if its gilt finish.
