A scarce original early pattern 'Monmouthshire Women's Institutes Welsh badge', large gilded brass medallion the centre bearing an enbossed 'Viking Ship', within a blue enamel title surround the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright.
