A scarce original circa 1953 period Scottish grouping of nurse badges comprising:
'Western General Hospital Edinburgh badge' the reverse impressed with Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1953, maker's details 'K&S' (Alexander Kirkwood & Son) and inscribed '101 D.L.Gibbs Nov. 1954'
together with 'Registered General Nurse Scotland' the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1953, maker's details 'H&I' Hamilton & Inches Edinburgh and inscribed 'D.L.Gibbs A33885' and 'The General Nursing Council For England & Wales, chromium plated and inscribed 'D.L.Gibbs S.R.N. 235028 29.3.56'. All in exceptionally good condition.
