Warwickshire Federation of the Women's Institutes WI 1935 Handicraft Exhibition

A rare original 1935 onwards 'Warwickshire Federation of the Women's Institutes WI Handicraft Exhibition badge'; maroon silk woven ribbon, the top half depicting a woven silhouette of a classical lady with needle and thread, with additional tapes inscribed 'Rugs, Domestic Section x 2, Patchwork x 2, Raffia Work Upholstery, Rugs' with dates '1935 1938 x 2'. Good condition, fragile split to lower half, complete with sewn on safety pin style fitting to reverse, colour remains bright.
