WW1 Belgian Field Hospital cap badge by Gaunt London

A rare original Great War period 'Belgian Field Hospital cap badge'; gilded brass white enamel shield with a large red cross and tri-part title scroll below, the reverse impressed 'Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with two original loops fittings, some stress lines to left scroll and surface scratches to shield, gilt finish remains bright.
