Kings College Hospital London silver nurses league badge

A scarce original 'King's College Hospital nurses silver badge' inlaid with green enamel, the central device depicting the 'Royal Crest' with Latin motto 'Sancte Et Sapienter' (With Holiness and Wisdom), the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1951 and maker's details 'JRG&S' (J.R.Gaunt & Sons). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
