A scarce original Second World War period 'Foster Transformers and Switchgear Ltd air raid precaution home front badge'; small chromium plated shield inlaid with blue enamel with the initial 'LDC', white enamel title bar 'Foster' red enamel 'ARP' below, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect.
