National Reserve Class II Hammersmith London home front badge

A very scarce original First World War period large gilt badge inlaid with blue and white enamel, '12' impressed to the right side rifle butt, the reverse with maker's details "J.R. Gaunt London" and impressed low issue number '48 Hammersmith' Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel intact, gilt remains bright.
