Co-operative Wholesale Society ARP badge

A scarce original wartime period 'Co-operative Wholesale Society ARP badge'; gilt shield inlaid with yellow enamel, to the centre a prominent ARP in red surmounted by a English Rose and Scottish Thistle and title 'E&S CWS', the reverse impressed with maker's detail 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
