A scarce original circa 1930's period 'R.M.S.Arundel Castle Shipping Line gilt and enamel pin brooch', the Union-Castle Line company enamelled flags mounted to the centre of a ship's wheel. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
Diameter 32mm.

RMS Windsor Castle built by John Brown & Company, Clydebank, Scotland and launched in 1921. Commissioned as a troop transport ship in the Second World War and was sunk in 1943 by a torpedo launched from a German aircraft off Algiers.
