British Railways Midland Region Yard Master cap badge

A very scarce original 1950 to 1956 issue 'British Railways Midland Region cap badge'; gilded brass example depicting a lion astride a wheel, the centre 'Crimson Lake' red enamel bar inscribed 'Yard Master'. Very good used condition, complete with original two loop fittings, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright and nicely toned.
