A scarce original early issue 'British Overseas Airways Corporation aircrew brevet wing badge'; gold bullion embroidery wing on felt cloth backing, the centre bearing a griffin within double rope edge circlet, surmounted by an astral crown, the reverse with black waxed cotton lining. Good used condition.
Width 60mm.

'British Overseas Airways Corporation' was formed in 1939, BOAC and BEA merged in 1974 to become British Airways.
