King George V Essex Special Constabulary long service medal

A good full sized Crowned bust in Coronation robes 'King George V Special Constabulary Long Service bronze medal' the reverse inscribed in relief 'For Faithful Service in the Special Constabulary', complete with original silk ribbon and single pin bar fitting, the rim impressed to the recipient 'Thomas G.H.Cutbush'. Very good condition.
Diameter 36mm.

In 1939 Mr Thomas G.H. Cutbush is recorded as being a retired Assistant Superintendent of the GPO living in Hornchurch Essex.


The 'Special Constabulary Long Service medal' was Instituted 30th August 1919.
