WW1 Lord Kitchener flags and battleship fundraisers badge

A scarce First World War period 'Lord Kitchener button badge, in the form of a coloured printed representation of 'Lord Kitchener' with crossed Union Flag and Royal Standard on the scene of a battleship, within gold plated surround. Good condition, complete with original round buttonhole fitting, minor surface scratches,foxing and rust to reverse.
Diameter 21mm.

Lord Kitchener died in 1916 near the Orkney Islands, Scotland, when the warship taking him to negotiations in Russia was sunk by a German mine.
