Vulcan Motor and Engineering Co Southport badge buses cars lorries

A scarce original circa 1930's 'Vulcan Motor Southport promotional gilt and enamel lapel badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham' a backmark used between 1933 and 1939. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel intact except for a minimal graze in the 4 o'clock position, gilt finish remains bright.

'Vulcan Motor and Engineering Co' of Crossens, Southport were manufacturers of cars, buses and commercial vehicles. In 1937 the company was acquired by J. Brockhouse and Co.
