Primrose League Honorary Knight of the League badge and case

A good original Victorian 'Primrose League Knight or Honorary Knight of the League badge', gilt oval bearing the Latin motto of the League 'Imperium Et Libertas' (Empire and liberty) and 'PL' monogram at the foot, yellow enamel primrose flower to voided centre, the reverse with lightly stamped maker's details "T & JB" (T & J Bragg Ltd Birmingham) and registered, design and patent number "Rd 41562" (1886). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole stud fitting, no damage to the enamel and housed in original case with corresponding maker's details.
