A scarce circa 1970 period limited edition fine quality 'Supermarine Spitfire fighter aicraft brooch', defining all of its attributes such as the very distinctive elliptical wings with cutting-edge and sunken rivets, the reverse impressed with London 9ct gold hallmarks for 1970 and maker's details 'FM' (Franklin Mint). Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order.
