A scarce original First World War period 'On War Contracts 1915 badge'; brass circular example with blue enamel title surround, depicting the United Union emblems of England, Scotland and Ireland, a Rose, Thistle and Shamrock in red enamel, the reverse with unusual maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Medalist" and "Reg.638232" a design and registration date of 1914. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel with chips and service wear.
