1903 Automobile Club of Great Britain and Ireland stewards badge Dublin made

A rare original '1903 Automobile Club of Great Britain and Ireland stewards badge', large gilded brass green enamel ribbon title scroll joined at the base by Union spray and white butterfly shaped plaque bearing "Steward" the voided centre depicting allegorical figures in a veteran car viz. Gordon Bennett Cup device; the reverse impressed with Irish maker's details "West & Son College Green Dublin". Good condition, complete with original suspension ring, enamel with minor service wear, gilt finish remains bright, green and white cord now absent, .
