Incorporated Church Scout Patrols ICSP service medal with CLB clasps

A rare original circa 1909 'Incorporated Church Scout Patrols service bronzed medal' the obverse depicting a Cross and 'I.C.S.P.' above a lion with in the 'Watch and Pray' legend, the reverse with full title of the organisation 'Incorporated Church Scout Patrols'. The medal is in very good condition, the original green silk ribbon has become detached from the ornate suspension bar with original pin fittings due to age. The 1931. 1932. and 1933 clasps are probably for his Church Lads Brigade service.

The 'Incorporated Church Scout Patrols' was formed in 1909 and were an independent organisation to the Baden Powell Boy Scouts', they were absorbed into the 'Church Lads Brigade' around circa 1913 1914.
