Gartloch Hospital Glasgow psychiatric nursing badge

A scarce original circa 1940 'Gartloch Hospital nurses gilded brass badge, the obverse depicting a representation of the Gothic Revival style mental asylum in vivid coloured enamels, the reverse with pre 1969 maker's details "J.Pinches London" and inscribed "Geoffrey Wells". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, gilt remains bright.
