Royal College of Nursing 1955 silver badge

A scarce early pattern Royal College of Nursing silver gilt and enamel badge, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1955, maker's details "JRG&S" (J.R.Gaunt & Sons) and impressed with official issue number "69378". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel with minimal service wear, retaining original gilt finish.
