St Stephen's Hospital Nursing 1925 silver qualification badge

A scarce original circa 1925 St Stephen's Hospital Nursing badge in the form of a cross inlaid with black enamelling and bearing a portcullis to voided centre, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1925, maker's details "V&S" (Vaughton & Sons) and inscribed "S.D.Swift 1925". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
