WW1 National Reserve Dorset officially numbered badge.

A scarce original Great War period 'National Reserve Dorset home front badge', gilded brass circular example bearing green enamel title surround, large ram's head on tri-part scroll "Quod Tuum Tene" (hold on to what is yours) to voided centre; the reverse with maker's details "Bliss Bros Birmingham" and impressed with official issue number "2776". Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright.
