A scarce original circa 1948 to 1974 early pattern 'Rotheram C.B. Fire Brigade cap badge'; chromium plated Home Office star with applied red enamel title circlet; bearing county arms to centre. Good condition, complete with original two loop fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear.

In the 1974 reorganisation 'Rotheram County Borough Fire Brigade' merged to form 'South Yorkshire Fire Service'.
