Swansea General and Eye Hospital 1949 Welsh nurses named badge

A scarce original 'Swansea General and Eye Hospital badge'. Oxidised silver plated example bearing the Latin motto 'Amica Generis Humani'; the reverse impressed with maker's details "Toye & Co London" and inscribed "886 D.J.Davies Entered 26-6-49". Good condition, complete with original pin fiitings pin a replacement, some enamel damage to the motto scroll. Price reflects.
