British Fascists 2nd pattern For King And Country membership badge.

A rare original circa 1924 'British Fascists membership badge'; silver plated example inlaid with black enamelling, depicting the early pattern rose without a cross; the reverse with maker's details "Gaunt London", impressed with official issue number "6590" and in relief "Rd No 703184" a registered, design and patent date of early 1924. Very good condition, retaining the correct horizontal axle pin fittings for this pattern badge, enamel intact, silver plating good and nicely toned.

The 'British Fascists' were founded in 1923 by 'Rotha Lintorn-Orman' and dissolved in 1934.
