WW1 Cambrian Railways war service badge

A rare original First World War period "Cambrian Railways war service badge" gilded brass example with blue enamel title surround, Crowned "Railway Service" title to the centre on white enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details "J.A.Wylie & Co London" and official low issue number "H 126". Good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, service wear and enamel loss to centre. Price reflects.

The 'Cambrian Railways' amalgamated with the 'Great Western Railway' in 1922. The name is continued today in the route known as the Cambrian Line.
