1940-1945 London Transport Home Guard Battalion 46 railway badge.

A scarce original blackened brass Crowned Maltese Cross inscribed "L.T.H.G. 46" depicting the London Transport griffin superimposed over crossed pike and rifle, the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting.
