Coalville Peace Celebrations 1919 Britannia Battleship & Airship badge.

A scarce original end of war badge for the town Coalville in Leicestershire 'To Commemorate Peace 1919'. Bronze tri-part title scroll bearing 'Peace Dove' holding an olive branch, from which depends an ornate fob, the obverse depicting an victorious allegorical figure of a Britannia standing with outstretched left arm holding a laurel wreath; in the background can be seen a 'Royal Navy Battleship' and a 'Airship' below a Victory scroll; the reverse inscribed in relief "Coalville Peace Celebrations". Very good condition, but please note that it retains its original coiled end pin fitting but the pin has been BROKEN OFF in the middle of the coil. Price reflects.
