WW1 British Red Cross Society proficiency in first aid medal.

A scarce original Great War period issue 'British Red Cross Society Proficiency in First Aid medal' with additional 1915 and 1916 bars, awarded to "4796 George Wellard", the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London" and "Rd. No.629288" a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1913. Very good condition complete with original ribbon and suspension bar with pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
