WW1 British Red Cross Society London Camberwell County badge.

A scarce original First World War period 'British Red Cross Society London Camberwell gilt and enamel County badge', the reverse with maker's details "J.R Gaunt London" and inscribed "23734 Dorothy Herbert". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings possibly a old replacement pin, enamel with minor wear.
Height 50mm.

The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
