A good original circa 1945–1954 period 'Amalgamated Society of Woodcutting Machinists trade union badge'; ornate silver plated example displaying a machine in the middle of a sawblade, with the legend "Onward" above, the reverse with embossed maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Ld Bradford Works Birmingham" (a design used between 1945 and 1954). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect.
