Boy Scouts Commissioner Officer 1st patt silver hat badge no stars

A rare original first pattern 'Boy Scouts Commissioner officer's silver hat badge', arrowhead in circle, no stars, resting on a 'Be Prepared' ribbon scroll; the reverse impressed "Silver" with maker's details "JAW&C" (J.A.Wylie & Co) and registered, design and patent number "Rd535092" for the year 1909. Very good condition, complete with original loops, correct amount of baubles top and bottom, complete with dark purple bristle plume, an excellent example.
