Boy Scouts 11th World Scout Jamboree Greece 1963 Laurel Award participants badge

A rare original official 'Boy Scouts 11th World Jamboree Greece 1963 silvered Laurel Award Badge' in the form of a bar bearing embossed laurel spray; the obverse with Swiss maker's details 'Huguenin (Locle) Switzerland' the reverse '11th World Jamboree 1963' 'No 8193' in relief. Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting also with maker's details.
Width 31mm.

The Laurel Award was originally awarded with a certificate signed by Prince Constantine, Chief Scout of Greece, (this now absent). The award was officially worn above the right pocket of the scout uniform shirt.
