Boy Scouts Scoutmaster Officer 1st Pattern 1912 silver hat badge

A rare original 1st pattern 'Scoutmaster officer's silver hat badge'; arrowhead in circle, no stars, resting on a 'Be Prepared' ribbon scroll; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1912, maker's details "JAW&C" (J.A.Wylie & Co) and "Rd 535092" a Registered Design and Patent date of 1909. Very good condition, complete with original loops, baubles and green bristle plume.
