Royal Air Force Officers field service RAF side hat badge circa 1940s

A very good original King George VI period two piece 'RAF officer's gilt cap badge'; gilded brass example on backing plate, the reverse retaining the original screw post and nuts to both Crown and eagle. Very good condition, minor service wear.
