Primrose League Honourable Order of the Grand Star badge

A large Victorian period 'Primrose League Decoration of the Grand Star Second Grade'; unmarked star, cut in brilliant silver facets, mounted with gilt Garter inlaid with blue enamelling, bearing the legend "Imperium Et Libertas" (Empire and liberty), surmounted by an Imperial Crown and yellow enamel primrose centre, the reverse with maker's details "T&J B (T&J Bragg Medals Birmingham, London). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel intact, complete with detachable silk neck ribbon and complete with original presentation case.
