Boy Scouts Rover Scoutmaster officers silver hat badge.

A very scarce original 1st pattern circa 1928 'Rover Scoutmaster officer's hat badge', silver arrowhead in circle, green enamel 'R.S' instead of the normal stars, complete with green bristle plume; the reverse impressed "Silver", with maker's details "Collins London" and registered, design and patent number "Rd 535292" for the year 1909. Very good clean condition, green enamel with minor service wear, complete with correct number of baubles top and bottom and retaining both original flat 'D' loops and split pin.
