National Union of Teachers Romford president badge

A good original vintage period 'National Union of Teachers badge'; oval bearing Latin motto 'Fac et Spera' (Do and hope), mounted by a 'Lamp of Knowledge' with 'President' scroll above and further scroll to the bottom 'Romford; the applied central device depicting two figures supporting a shield with 'NUT' to the center, the badge is complete with red, white and blue enamel inlay. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
