BOAC Airline 1953 Coronation hallmarked silver pilots wing badge

A rare original 'British Overseas Airways Corporation silver wing'; fine quality minature example, the centre bearing Astral crowned shield with early 'BOAC' griffin logo on blue enamel ground, the reverse impressed with Birmingham Coronation silver hallmarks for 1953 and maker's details "T&S" (Turner & Simpson Ltd Legge Lane, Birmingham.). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect.
