Entertainments National Service Association ENSA enamel pin badge

A scarce original circa 1939 - 1946 period 'Entertainments National Service Association cap badge'; designed by "Sir Edwin Lutyens PRA" in the form of a gilded brass, red white and blue enamel stylized inverted triangle with emphasized central initial "E" within red enamel circle and NSA to arms, the reverse retaining original pin fitting. Very good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minor service wear to gilt finish.
Height 24mm.

ENSA formed in 1939, disbanded in June 1946.
