New Imperial Motors Birmingham pre-1939 motorcycle badge
A rare original pre-war Motorcycle badge'; gilded brass example in the form of the company's logo a stylized lion in profile on blue enamel tablet "New Imperial"; the reverse impressed with maker's details "W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd Birmingham". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, minimal wear.

New Imperial was a British motorcycle manufacturer founded in Birmingham by Norman Downes, it became 'New Imperial Motors Ltd' in 1912 and ended production in 1939.
