The Missions To Seamen gold bullion felt cloth enamel cap badge
A scarce original circa 1940's 'The Missions To Seamen cap badge'; black felt padded example bearing gold wire bullion laurel wreath, pinned to the centre a silver plated flag inlaid with blue enamel, displaying the "Flying Angel Symbol'; the reverse with black cotton herringbone lining and traces of old label. Good condition, bullion a little dull with spots of verdigris, the badge retaining original pin fittings, enamel intact, but with heavy verdigri to pin (making it fragile) and a touch to the front.
