Look Westward television programme advertising celluloid badge

A good original circa 1964 period 'Look Westward promotional badge', large celluloid tin button example displaying their white and blue Sailing Ship logo. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, colour remains bright, minimal foxing.
Diameter 31mm.

Westward Television based in Plymouth, held the franchise to broadcast from 29 April 1961 until 31 December 1981. The area covered was Devon, Cornwall, South Somerset, Taunton, Deane and West Dorset. Peter Cadbury the company's first chairman named it after the golf course at 'Westward Ho'.
