WW1 Middleton Auxiliary Hospital 1918 silver war service badge

A scarce original end of Great War period hospital badge; fine quality laurel wreath, red enamel cross to voided centre, title scroll below "Middleton" inlaid with white enamel, further bi-part scroll "1916" "1919". The reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1918, maker's details "WHH" (W H Haseler Ltd, Birmingham) and inscribed to recipient "CLARA COLLINGE". Vey good condition, retaining original pin fittings, red enamel with minor bruises.
