WW1 British Red Cross & Order of St John Officer's badge

A scarce original large gilded brass and enamel badge worn during the First World War by the joint War Organisation of the British Red Cross Society and Order of St John possibly on a hat, the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London", impressed with the letter "L" and official low issue number "51". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, very minor wear to enamel.
