Worthing Southlands & District Hospitals nurses badge

A good original circa 1948-74 'Worthing, Southlands & District Hospitals nurses badge'; gilded brass example, bearing a white enamal quatrefoil title surround, embossed mauve enamel cross to the centre, the top arm carrying the 'Six Martlets Sussex Shield' above the graduation 'lamp of knowledge'; the reverse impressed with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Regent St Bimingham". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, enamel intact, gilt finiish remains bright.
