Metropolitan Railway pair of 35 and 40 years long service badges

A good pair of original circa 1930's 'Metropolitan Railway Service 35 and 40 Years service badges'; gilded brass circular examples, the centre bearing a shield with the 'Metropolitan Railway Coat of Arms' inlaid with vivid red, white, black and green enamelling; the reverse of each inscribed "A.H.George" the lapel with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London". Very good condition, retaining original ring fitting and buttonhole lapel, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright.
